On the Seferihisar–İzmir route in Limanreis, Narlıdere — a nature-rich preschool close to the slow-city spirit.
For families who live in Seferihisar and commute towards İzmir, or who want an approach beyond the few local options, Elif Başkut Education is an option on the way. Our school in Limanreis, Narlıdere is about 35-40 minutes by car from Seferihisar centre.
Our approach echoes Seferihisar’s Cittaslow spirit: unhurried Waldorf pedagogy that respects the child’s rhythm, forest school days working with soil, garden and seasons, and clean meals cooked at school — complemented by Reggio Emilia’s project-based curiosity and bilingual daily life.
Our 08:00–17:30 programme is planned around commuting families. We invite you and your child to see the school in person.
Seferihisar centre → Seferihisar–İzmir road → İzmir–Çeşme motorway → Narlıdere/Limanreis: about 40 km, 35-40 minutes. Sığacık and Ürkmez connect via the same motorway.
We do not offer a shuttle; the school is easy to reach by car on Mithatpaşa Street, with convenient drop-off and pick-up in front of the building.

We blend the project-based Reggio Emilia approach, rhythm-based Waldorf pedagogy and weekly forest school days into one holistic programme.
English is not a separate lesson but a natural part of the day, acquired through play, songs and daily routines — plus a weekly French lesson.
Class sizes are limited. Each child’s development is closely followed and shared with families in regular meetings.
All meals are cooked fresh in our own kitchen with seasonal ingredients; allergies and special diets are respected.
Read what families say on our Google Business Profile and see the school in person at an introductory meeting.
