Our Programs
Child-centered approaches grounded in scientific foundations
Reggio Emilia Approach
The Reggio Emilia approach is based on the idea that the child has "100 languages." It believes there are countless ways for every child to express themselves; through drawing, play, movement, music... Children carry out long-term projects driven by their own curiosity, while teachers guide the process.
- Child-centered, project-based learning
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Rich interaction with art, nature and materials
- Co-creation and teamwork

Waldorf Education
Waldorf education addresses the child's physical, emotional, and intellectual development holistically. Natural materials, rhythmic daily flow, fairy tales, and art are at the heart of education. It is an approach in which children learn to respect time and nature, and grow through simple, meaningful play.
- Deep connection with nature and seasonal rhythm
- Imagination and artistic development
- Play with simple, natural materials
- Emotional resilience and social development

Forest School
Forest school pedagogy is an approach where children regularly spend time in natural settings, exploring and learning at their own pace. Children live the seasons, play with natural materials, and learn to manage small risks and respect nature. The outdoors is a child's most natural classroom.
- Deep bond with nature and environmental awareness
- Confidence, resilience and risk management
- Gross-motor development and physical health
- Curiosity, observation and exploration skills

Bilingual Education
In our bilingual program, Turkish and English are used naturally throughout the day. Children acquire language not through grammar rules but through play, songs, stories, and activities. Our native or near-native English teachers share the language with children through everyday life. We also offer a weekly French lesson.
- Natural fluency in two languages
- Cultural openness and global citizenship
- Cognitive flexibility and language awareness
- Weekly French lessons

Holistic Approach
At Elif Başkut Education, we are not the dogmatic follower of a single approach. Knowing that every child is different, we offer Reggio Emilia's researcher spirit, Waldorf's love for nature and rhythm, the global perspective of bilingual education, and mindfulness practices within an integrative philosophy.
- Adaptable to each child's individual needs
- Balance of academic, social, emotional, and physical development
- Self-awareness through mindfulness
- Creativity, language, and a bond with nature together
